Paying your rent

To make paying your rent as easy as possible, here are the payment options available to you:

Direct Debit – This is the most convenient way to make payments. The rent payment is requested directly from your bank account and to set up the payments you simply complete a Direct Debit form. The only thing that you have to do is ensure money is available in your account on the date you have agreed.

To request a Direct Debit form email IncomeManagement@trident-ha.org.uk

Standing Order – You arrange to set this up with your bank to pay Trident directly from your account on the agreed dates.

Allpay Payment Card – You can use your Allpay Card to make payments to your account. These cards are accepted all Post Offices and stores who display the Paypoint or Payzone signs.

Allpay Online – Log on to Allpay at www.allpay.net to pay your account by debit or credit card. Select ‘make a payment online’ and follow the instructions.

Allpay Payment App – If you own an Apple, Windows or Android smartphone you can now download the new Allpay App.  This new app will allow you to pay your rent through Allpay anytime, anywhere via your mobile phone. Click here to find out how you can sign up to the Allpay Payment App.

Pay over the counter – Visit Trident’s Head Office at 239 Holliday Street, Birmingham, B1 1SJ and pay by cash, cheque or card. Click to view our office opening hours.

Over the telephone – call Trident on freephone 0800 111 4944 during office opening hours or Allpay 24hours a day, seven days a week on 0844 557 8321.

Housing Benefit – this must be applied for through you local council to see if you are eligible. If you are, payment can currently be made directly to Trident. However, in 2013 the government will be making some changes to benefits which will affect this process, see our Welfare Reform pages for more information.

If you are a tenant in the Birmingham area you can make an online application for Housing Benefit by visiting selfserveclaims.birmingham.gov.uk

Your rent is charged on a weekly basis (every Monday). It is important that you pay your rent on time.
