Every resident is responsible for their behaviour and they need to ensure that everyone in their household, and their visitors, treat their home and the neighbourhood with respect and follow the rules set out in the tenancy agreement.
Most of our residents never cause or experience anti-social Behaviour (ASB). However, unfortunately some are victims and do experience ASB.
There are different legal definitions to describe ASB and nuisance, and you can learn more by clicking here.
The broad definition Trident use is:
“Something that causes a nuisance, annoyance, harassment, alarm or distress to one or more person/s not of the same household.”
This behaviour is usually persistent and ongoing, examples of such behaviour are:
- Noise
- Verbal abuse
- Vandalism
- Pet and animal nuisance
- Nuisance for vehicles
- Drug/substance misuse or dealing
- Alcohol related behaviour
- Domestic violence
- Physical violence
- Litter fly-tipping
- Misuse of communal spaces
- Prostitution
- Criminal behaviour
