Getting Involved

We want to ensure that all Trident customers have the opportunity to get involved. This helps us to get the right outcomes for customers - excellent services; value for money and increased accountability. We are committed to taking action to positively promote, encourage and support resident involvement.
We want to hear about the issues that concern you and we welcome your suggestions for changes and improvements. You know your community! With your support we can work together to improve quality of life for our residents and their neighbourhoods.
We have developed a Menu of Engagement which allows you to choose how you want to get involved – whether it’s being kept informed, getting active on a particular local issue, responding to consultations, joining a residents’ association, becoming a ‘Local Voice’, a tenant inspector or joining one of our panels. You may decide to represent a group of households in your area or put yourself forward to join one of our Steering Groups, the Housing Forum, or apply to become a Board member. We have also developed the Resident Involvement Annual Plan 2009/2010
Have Your Say which highlights how customers will be involved in developing services over the coming year.
We provide a range of free training courses and pay all out of pocket expenses.
Customers who are involved find that it helps them increase their confidence and develop their skills. It can be a great way to meet others, and a stepping stone to other opportunities.
