By forming a Residents’ Group in your area, you will have the opportunity to address any issues in your local community, lobby for changes and improvements in services, and give your community a ‘voice’.
What the role involves:
- Getting together with other residents in your community to discuss issues.
- Working with Trident and other community bodies (community wardens and police) to make improvements, or tackle issues.
Other information:
- Trident will provide full support with setting up Residents’ Groups.
Time you will need to give:
- This is really up to you, and depends on how you want your Residents’ Group to work. Some residents meet monthly, whilst others only get together to tackle individual issues.
