Trident has several fully equipped learning centres within their own housing developments. They are a valuable resource to both Trident residents and to people from the local community who want to learn. Each centre offers access to Learndirect, the government-sponsored initiative in flexible learning aimed at anyone over the age of 16. There are many reasons why people sign up for Learndirect courses - to improve their employability, become a member of the 'digital society' or simply because they wish to learn something new. Indeed, Trident's own service providers are developing new practices while they assist young residents with life skills through Learndirect.
