No one looks exactly like you or behaves the way you do. No other person has all your mannerisms or expresses himself or herself as you do. The fact is you are unique. Even so, for all our differences and individuality, we all share basic needs that are fundamental to our lives. The food we eat, the clothes we wear and a roof over our heads. These needs are so obvious that many people take them for granted.

But not everyone can be that fortunate.

We each tread our own path, some finding it easier than others. But who can say that they have never had to face a problem, experience pain or overcome some seemingly impossible difficulty? And when this happens, who could deny the value of a helping hand?

It is natural for us all to believe that we lead ordinary lives.

It is for others to discover that we are extraordinary people.
