Care is a word that means different things to different people. In the past care was what you gave people who needed a little extra support to get through their daily lives. Sadly, all too often that support meant little more than a room and some basic furnishings - all meeting the agreed standards of the day, of course. Fortunately, there have been some significant changes taking place in recent years and one of those changes is a new definition of that word care. At Trident we extended the definition. It is no longer acceptable to simply care for people. We must care about people because that is the only way we can determine what those in our care want from their lives.
